I've learned, especially in summer heat, go as soon as the zoo opens. The animals are active and much more interesting to watch. For some animals, such as bears, feeding time is the only time they are active. 🙂

It was morning and there were those moving around, but I guess I am drawn to images that reflect my favorite behavior

Ahh. So some just didn't have enough sleep and were just making up for lost sleep. OR! some, like people, just like to sleep. We learn about ourselves watching other animals especially other mammals. Great fun at the zoo!

Thanks all for the comments. The trip to the zoo was actually an organized exercise walk which I need, complete with a doctor speaking about healthy habits. I was listening, but couldn't resist capturing animal poses. This guy was just hanging around.
