A challange To all photographers: My question is do you have the guts to do what you ask your models to do? Pose in not so nice places, dangerous places, pose nude , weird or awkward...

My question is do you have the guts to do what you ask your models to do?
Pose in not so nice places, dangerous places, pose nude , weird or awkward positions.
I personally have never ask a subject to do anything I wouldn't do, or haven't done.

The few "Models" I have photographed no I have not. In fact I have been in the most dangerous positions at times to get the angle.

When my daughter was in her mid twenties she was living with us after a failed relationship. She finally met an incredibly nice guy, and as they were leaving for their first date, I told her: "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" She paused for a moment and said "Dad, I can't think of anything you wouldn't do!"
One of my first models once asked why all of our best images somehow required for her to be in pain. That's when I became more aware of what I was asking my models to do.

I have been in more dangerous positions photographing my models than I have had any model be in. And no I don't do the same kind of images of myself, no one, including me, would want to look at them anyway.
