J&R has the following card on sale for 49% off. Is this a good deal?

I have several of that exact card in the 16GB capacity (16GB is the largest size I buy), they work extremely well and I have never had a glitch of any kind with them. Thats a good price for the Platinum II

Interesting header on their web page. I suppose it was intended to be two separate statements, but I read it as "not a single 'bait and switch' since 1971." good thing you are buying from them now, not then!

I have 2 of these from B&H for same price ($30). They work fine in the D7000.

The price is better, but I've never heard of Patriot.

Might be good. http://patriotmemory.com/company/news/newsp.jsp?source=2

They make computer memory. Probably in the same category as PNY.

That looks like a good price, but I'd never fill that card. I don't like to keep images on a card for days on end. If I go out shooting for a day, I always upload to the computer when I get home.

It would be good for lots of raw and video.
