Confrontations at the Mimosa Tree!

Confrontations at the Mimosa Tree...my bird feeders are attached to my "Mimosa Tree" in the backyard, about 50 feet from my camera, (Canon Powershot S2 IS) and several of the birds knock the seeds out and then a variety of them feed on the ground, along with the squirrels......they spend the day either eating quietly or chasing each other away.... :mrgreen:

BLUE JAY, SQUIRREL AND RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS

Had been raining for several days and the grass had shot up....but, a low blow, nevertheless.... :thumbdown:

Was sorry after I wrote that.....shouldn't have shown a remark that shows that kind of feeling on my part....hope you will overlook it, as I definitly didn't want to start anything derogatory in this thread...... :oops:

I like them. I know you have Red-headed Woodpeckers in the group, but what are the ones in the first photo? They are very pretty.

We don't have the Red-headed this far south, unfortunately.

They both are shown here.....the 6th and 9th are the "Red-Bellied Woodpeckers"......6th a male and 9th the female... :mrgreen:
