Been coming to this pond for forty years. Never seen anything like this. Looks like a giant gold fish. At least 4 feet long.
Koi are giant goldfish, a species of carp, this is what can happen when a little goldfish is released in a pond with lots of available food. They keep growing until they die, which may be fifty years or more. If this one is 4 ft long, it's twice the size of the largest Koi I've ever seen, but it is theoretically possible.
At lease 3 to 4 feet. Thanks for the info. Allan

Might be a koi
Their size is also partly dependent on the size of the water body they're in. Releasing Koi into a lake or large pond guarantees they'll get bigger. Four feet, however, is a monster!!
I went on Google and found this pertinent information: giant four foot Gold fish.
Very interesting, avemal!
