Something a bit lighter...
A couple of months back, my wife found this little guy in a thrift store in Northern Scotland, hence the nickname. A good dusting and a couple of new batteries and he sprang to life.
.
A handy film junk box yielded the appropriate. Although it had been quite some time sinse Scotty had a square meal he did state that the Gold 200 tasted a bit stale.
...a few cranks on the winding lever and he was ready to rock!
So here he is, hanging with this mob. Kenny, the smarta$$ reluctantly shares his lenses with the "new guy" but flatly refuses to share any space in the bag. Scotty puts up with the incessant film vs digital bickering and is happy just to tag along.

Just plain funny. Congratulations!! on the new camera but more importantly, the choice in wives.
Delightful photostory, Dan, I loved it! This sentence, "Scotty puts up with the incessant film vs digital bickering and is happy just to tag along." is particularly clever!
We all need a bit of levity betimes.
Must admit, was pretty surprised to get this, Asahi Pentax has always been my brand choice and the little 110 is a unique critter for the collection.
Scotty and I agree on a lot of stuff. Unfortunately, he and his ilk are becoming extinct due to a food source problem.
