I tried to salvage this shot

I tried to save this shot I blew. I missed a great opportunity with the cars going by and the fireworks finale. I was able to fix the exposure but the fireworks look soft. I was on manual focus all night with the focus set almost to infinity. The focus was fine on all of my shots until I zoomed out to include the cars going by. This was my first attempt to shoot fireworks. I had some good shots but I think I missed this one I wanted the most.

I spent hours yesterday, trying to reclaim my fireworks from a horrible haze. I've got the muscle-memory to coax out them shy ones. Here is my attempt. Please view the download for best effect.

Thanks, Bob. I like it. I don't think there's anything that can be done to make the fireworks look more in focus. That's why I think I blew this shot.

You're right about the focus ..... I used BOTH Topaz InFocus and Piccure +, 2 of the best solutions out there, and this is as close as it could get.
