There is a history with my boss and I and I wanted to do something nice for him. It is a family owned business and they have accepted me with open arms. They made me an offer I could not refuse.After 27 years with my previous employer I made this change. The reason for the explanation is my new boss was also employed there also. He left the company and started his own about ten years ago. It turned out to be a very successful business. It is just my way of saying thank you. So I ask my friends here on uhh witch one .++++++++++++++++++++++++
Once looking at both images enlarged, #1 is the winner for me because the post processing in #2 did more harm than giving any improvements. #1 is your best option !

Agree, whatever you've done in no.2 could be undone slightly to get the best of both shots. If it's beyond your abilities (I'm not saying it is) ask the guys in the Post processing section - they're the mutts nutts at this sort of stuff.

Choice two is a little better balanced, with shadow detail brought out, IMHO.

Now it really depends on where the light ( window ) comes from in the room that the print is intended to be hung. 2 would be fine on the opposite wall to the light. 1 would be great to the adjacent of the window, giving the shadow side more meaning.
