I have a RB 67 SD. I have two tubes, one SD, one not. I have 90 mm C, and 3 KL lens, 127, 180, 250mm. What combo would be good to learn with? I will shoot inside with lights to gain some idea of what is happening. I have some old polaroid to check exposure. My goal is high res B & W, wet work enlargements. The bigger the better. If I ever get this figured out I would move to large format. Or maybe I should start there? Thanks!
6x7 is an excellent format. My two RB-67 bodies have not seen film for almost 30-years.
The 127-mm lens is considered "normal" for 6x7 format. The 90-mm is your wide angle, and will provide the deepest DOF, and may lend itself to the best for macro, but the shortest WD. The 127-mm is your next best for macro. The RB-67 built-in bellows will allow decent close focus.
Thank you. I was looking for your advice, but I prefer we all keep most of our conversation and advice public and not lost in a PM.
I think I will concentrate on the 90mm as my mismatched tubes seem to assemble better with it and the SD body. I also have a first gen body. Is there any problem with all that lens and tube weight hanging off the RB body and single screw tripod mount? I do not wish to break anything. I also have never used tubes.
Last night we were documenting of my friend's Father's gear that went today to Central Camera consignment. I found this Leica accessory an interesting visual and in mint condition. He has 3 of them. I have no idea what this is worth. I am sure Central Camera will find out.
Thanks again for your advice.

Cantilevered weight could be a problem. Make sure you have a sturdy plate connecting camera to tripod. The Leica piece looks very interesting. Does it have an internal prism to split light path to eyepiece, or a spring-loaded mirror? I wanna know more.
It appeared to be a mirror which could flipped up with that button on the side. It came with a beautiful Leica dual cable release I have in other pictures. I mistakenly called it a prism bellows, but it is a movable mirror. If you are into Leica, next time I will shoot more pictures.
He also had a perfect 35mm Bell and Howell Foton. There is a crummy one on eBay for $2600. The isn't a scratch on this one. I tried to get him to keep the best, but 2 others are still in Ohio and may not be this perfect.
