You've just solved a mystery for me - had heard term "Turks Cap" but didn't really know what it was.

Beautiful captures Pat. And very fitting you will find meaning and reflections of a loved one when you view them.
Thank you, Irene. Visuals are strong reminders for me.

Lol.....we have a backyard visitor of this species too....except I have yet to see him/her.....except the footprints and the trimmed down hostas!
They are so beautiful and so destructive....hope he took his deer ticks with him!

I think they are also known as Tiger Lilies.
Love your boats, RR. Thanks for hosting again.
At long last I got out for a quick shoot. I went to the levy last evening. Not much going on, but I got the granddaughter out with her camera and I managed to sweat so that I could not see part of the time. Because there was not much sunset and little else. I played. Here are some samples. Nothing to rave about, but fun.
All the photos you posted today are outstanding. Great work. Enjoy the deer. Maybe he will set up residence in you back woods.

And in our part of the world right now it takes a lot of sweat! It is hot! But your work is always hot. Hope you view my new efforts and make suggestions to improve.

We had our club photo shoot last night. It is totally different that what we normally do. I was not going to go, but changed my mind....so glad I did! The model was very nice and easy to work with. As seen, we were working with silhouettes!
p.s. for those in doubt...yes, she was fully dressed!
I keep returning to these - what a great opportunity and such fantastic shots, angles, composition.
