Spectacular shots of seldom seen occurrences. When was the last time you saw a buffalo crossing the road??? Awesome!

thanks I have been there when the whole herd decided to cross and my vehicle was surrounded! I was telling myself--you can roller skate in a buffalo herd, but I am driving through one!

Thank you kindly! They used a fog machine and had a large LED light in behind. I enhanced the colors and used brightness and contrast to make it more interesting and dramatic.

Thanks, Clicker. I just looked at your post from your morning. Beautiful stuff. What was the background. It looks a lot like fire or the sunrise, but I don't see clouds. Very interesting.

What a lovely time! Wonderful to see! Nice captures. I like the one with the buffalo with the young in the background. We only get to see squirrels, skunks, opossums and the odd dear around here unless we go to the zoo! LOL!

Kind of late after a busy day--and week. Enjoyed everyone's posts and want to say--have a happy and safe 4th
we had the honor of getting to visit our state's national park this past week. Friends from CA who grew up in ND were back visiting and we met them there. My girlfriend and I got up early and drove the 33 mile loop of the park. The buffalo and wild horses were out and beautiful and at that time of the morning we had the roads to ourselves

I appreciate your opinion, Bill. Our heat index was 105 yesterday and predicted to be the same today. So it is hard to be out long. I should take a picture of the AC and frame it in a heart.

your work is conceived ... the heat is on in Mississippi enough to seek in doors and think about the change of seasons
we've a long way to go ...

thanks Judy, and yes I was kind of thinking the same thing
I know a guy who has wonderful photos from there and he does lead groups. Don't know what he charges, but he probably knows the back trails for hiking that I don't. Otherwise it is just a looped road you drive. if you want to look at some of his work go to patgerlach.com

Will check that out, thanks for the info. Keep it in mind!
