Summer is officially here! Our little town has a spectacular fireworks show to benefit the Police Athletic League every year on the shore of Long Island Sound. Friends & family, food, kids, a true slice of Americana. Wonder how those cell phone shots turned out?

These are well done. We might have scattered thunderstorms wipe out our fireworks but I'm going to be there, just in case it doesn't.

Thunder is forecasted for us today also. Friday's projected rain was the reason our fireworks were Thursday. Hope your weather holds out. Happy 4ht!

I used to live in Norwalk. In 1976 we went the Westport beach to see the Bicentennial Fireworks. Best fireworks display I ever saw.
