A photographer for years, my favorite has always been Ansel Adams. I've tried my hand at B&W, but it's not as easy as one would think. After countless thousands of shots, I think I came close with this one. With it, I took 1st Place at a local competition(out of 978 others), and now headed for State. Your thoughts??
Two things.
1.) I can see why it won. It looks like a great shot.
2.) It would be nice to post it here again and check the box "store original" to see the large size.
New to posting here, and didn't realize. Here you go.
I'm wondering why (and how, for that matter how ;)) you spotlighted the center. Just for fun, I changed that. How do you see the difference between our two statements?
Darkroom magic...today's version. If we could dodge & burn in days of ol'...why not today?

Much better, that's a great shot.
Thanks. Wanting to enlarge & frame it for a present to my Dad(who got me started years ago). Not sure if I should go with an 8x10, or 9x11.
You got all the tones from white to black. Ansel would have liked it.
There's nothing to critique, it's perfect.
