I've seen that sign. We were coming back from north Jersey and passed that sign somewhere in the Lehigh Valley.

And this billboard in PA where spirits are only sold in state owned stores which just started Sunday sales about 16 years ago. Times are 'a-changing'.

Not that I quite grasp what difference selling booze on Sundays in state run liquor stores makes, but, PA isn't the only state with state owned or controlled liquor stores and there are grocery stores that sell beer and wine 7 days a week.

The main difference is the price for the higher price scotches, gins, etc here as compared to some states with competition, so I am told.

PA is the weirdest.
My wife and I were discussing crimes here in PA and they are the strangest and most creative stuff we have ever seen in the places we have lived in.
