Last week we had a timber rattler hanging arround, this week I came home to three small raccoons finishing up the cat food. Guess that's why we can't have nice things around. They are cute but I stayed clear of them(often having rabies around here) but got up close and personal with the Tamron 600.

Fabulous shots. They sure look cute, but you're right to keep your distance.

They are cute and adorable, until that is, the cat food is gone and they break into your house via an open window - tear through the screen and are in your living room at 2 am.
I speak first hand, it happened to me.

Hope they were wearing their masks that night! The over-reaching nerve!

Super shots! Some of rlaugh's extended family, no doubt...

What a handsome face! They can be nuisances, but the masked face is precious.

Thanks treepusher, but is it possible for hog folks to be related to procyonids?

Thanks Cwilson, I was really after some frog shots today but overgrown cattails curtailed those photos. So I was quite happy to get these critters.
