Paul Cadden - pencil artist. Pretty amazing. Think I'll stick with just printing my photos, though... the learning curve for doing this looks long and it requires actual talent - those easily eliminate me.

jasman, you outdid yourself with the brief, "...the learning curve for doing this looks long and it requires actual talent = easily elminiate me." !! Neat! You are right, where do these gifts come from? Artist Steve Hanks is another one, it's just amazing what these people can do. https://www.artifactsgallery.com/art.asp?!=A&ID=640

Thanks, jasman. Sent your post to one of my daughters, an aspiring artist. I learned as a kid that finger painting was the extent of my artistic talents.

We have an art competition in Grand Rapids Michigan each September for 3 weeks, and the winner in 2010 was an Art Professor from Aquinas college here, that did a pencil drawing 20 ft. long of a World War I cavalry group of about 30 army soldiers, in full fatigues. It was fantastic, I will post if I can find one of my pictures of it. He won the grand prize $250,000 and he said it took 800 hours to complete. Very neat art, indeed.
