If you thought it was just, "ehhh ok" then why did you post it? Either there or here?
Were professionals raving, or just the beyond cell phone newbies ?!
Myself, I can't find the subject? Does it have one? Can't be too strong if I can't find it. A problem with super wide is that every detail gets SOOO small that it becomes very weak since it can hardly be seen. The usual solution is to say it needs to be printed 10 foot X 8 foot and viewed huge.
Does the convergence work for you? Or is it like taking a boring shot and giving it a Dutch tilt and calling it Art?
Anyway, not even sure what's in the rest of the pic since I can't unglue my eyes from that huge area of blowout right in the very middle!!
Well anyway, not sure you were actually looking to get our thoughts on it!! LoL

Not enough distortion to make it interesting / exciting. poor tonal control of a presented image. I would have deleted it if it was mine, and I could not have improved it.

In my opinion, if you waited another 30 minutes or so the sky would have lite up with sunset colors. The cloud cover looks like it would have help light the sky.

The reflections and the clouds right over the sun make this shot attractive.

I like it, saside! Did you wait around to take more as the sun set? Would've been pretty!
