Halo in HDR

I asked this question once before, but lost the answer. Could anyone help me with the halo in the sky with HDR. How do I get rid of it? Thanks for any help you can give me.

You didn't say if the halo was there before you applied the HDR. Post a before and after shot and let us take a look at it. What software program did you use etc.

Your settings are too strong. Strength or Radius are usually the culprit. If you like the rest of your picture, make a very tame version that has no halo, and use it as a layer to paint in sky to color the halo in your original using something like Photoshop.

I use Photomatrix Pro. and Photoshop Elements 10. Will get a before and after also!

I heard that if you take one exposure very very dark and add to your bracketting the problem should be corrected. very very dark exposure.
