Yes, from a brief report that I read, it's going to 72mp and pricey. Full burst raw, duel XQD cards, and no buffeinig. Google: Sony A9 you can read more. Note: XQD card are expensive check on Amazon or whoever you normally buy your gear from.

On Sony rumors there is a report of an actual sighting of this camera, you can believe it or not. Reports I am hearing is the earthquake a few months ago in Japan has slowed down the manufacturing of sensors and as a result cameras are slow to arrive to customers. This is all brands.

I have to ask if you really think Sony has a problem with mp's? Sony made that 50 mp sensor for Canon. Sony has made the 100 mp sensor for Phase One. The sensor in the A7Rm2 is great. So some research and see how many companies use Sony sensors, just to name two--iphones and Nikon.

The new Pentax K-1 and Nikon D810 have Sony 36 megapixels sensors. Sony's has been ahead of others in sensor technology. Canon is supposedly building a 120 megapixels camera. No mention of it being a Canon or Sony sensor?

Thanks. I've read those same reported specs. I was going for more concrete info about the gory details like price, release date and more specs that are not speculative rumors from the mill! 😀

I checked all the report specs I could find as well and none of them mention price except that they think it will be on the pricey side. Personally I think in the $4500-$5800 range, but that's just my guess.
