Australian Black Swan

Captured a couple of shots of an Australian Black Swan trying to nap at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida. Can't decide which one I like best but think it's the first one. What do you think?

You cut off the neck in 2 ! ......#1 is much nicer IMO and a very nice subject !

Yes, unfortunately it is not a cropping error but a shooting error...LOL...and only took one shot at this angle. That's how we learn, right! Thank you so much for viewing and commenting to me.

I think both have their attributes. #2 has better lighting on the actual face, and I really like the feathers in that one. But overall, #1 is probably better. Cropping off the neck doesn't bother me. That's what happens when you go in close.

Maybe try a flip on #2. "cut off" not always a bad thing. #2 has more power because of the eyes. Enjoyed. Sandy

Very nice images Gatorgirl. I agree, it's number 1. The bird looks more "comfortable."
