nice effect, what was your shutter speed. I just did some similar shots and used from 1/30 to 5 seconds using ND filter.

I used 5 sec for my shutter speed. I also tried 4 seconds and the difference is small. The 8 sec was too bright.

That is beautifully done with good focus all the way from front to back. It is well worth the double download, I love it.

Thank you Brenda. My original plan was to go there at sunset but the rain forecast change everything. So I went there Midday around 11 AM and when I arrived at the deck, I still waited for the people to clear the corner area where I set my tripod and equipment. It was well worth the wait. The best month to take a picture of the Great Falls is during the Spring time when the snows are melting and during sunrise. The rocks will be shining wet with some snows on top.
