My first thought was that it still had some of the blue sky in it. Then I thought "No, that's just silly!"
Seriously though, I'd check your white balance.
Make sure you didn't accidentally change to some kind of tungsten setting.

Check your white balance settings Ag, you may have inadvertently changed them. I did just that and returned the camera to Nikon. They were excellent, no charge and it was reset and updated. They sorted it to perfection.

That would be my guess too!
Yeah, I had the same and found the camera had somehow switched to tungsten in the white balance settings (or was it me that did that...? !!)
try a reset: Menu, wrench, save/load settings, save settings. Hold the green dots (qual, +-) for 20 seconds.
Menu, pencil, custom settings, reset custom settings, yes.
Turn off camera, battery out
Turn camera on, press and hold shutter for 20 sec.
Battery back in, wrench, load settings
If you have the white balance setting you're using (other than picking your own color temp) you have to make sure that all of the settings are zeroed out with the dot in the center - including auto color or the above defrag (as the nikon tech rep called it) will only set your camera back to the original setting and still give you blue.
Bought a Nikon D700 and it was about 17M off (probably why the guy sold it) and doing this degrag set it back to normal.
It's tough for me and I'm sure others my age to remember that this is a computer with a lens. Any tiny malfunction or grand children messing with it could do all kinds of crazy stuff.
Good Luck
Listen, if you are going to sell the camera please sell it to me.
I have not seen blue pictures in a loooong time.
Seriously, take a look at the white balance.
the first 2 or 3 pic will be normal , then blue .will stop by camera store and see if they can figure it [ best in town ]
I have a D300 and have had that problem. It was a mis-set white balance. Messed up a session in the Tetons but since I shoot RAW, I recovered the images without problem. So, check the white balance and if not thst try the camera reset suggested by GraveyDave. Good luck.
I luck isn't with you I would go to Nikon. The D300 is a very good camera.
Here's my WAG:
You've somehow set a white balance bracket mode.
