Nice photos. But, I did not know that Falcons laid eggs in gravel. And, what about those bones around the eggs? The babies that you posted were also laying on gravel. They don't build nests?

No ,they make a small spot in the gravel and the bones are from the many birds they eat

Is this photo taken at a breeding project or falconer? Nice shots though a bit foggy on my monitor.

The adult Peregrine falcon has a wingspan of approximately 44 inches. 5 foot (60 inches)would be a bit large for this bird. Beautiful bird though.

#1 is a completely new pose. He must be trying to see into the camera. Good one.

Do they set up on the highrises of the city. I have heard that some cities are trying it for pigeon control. The shelves of city skyscrapers mimic the shelves on the cliffs they prefer to nest on.

This is very true, But dont get near them when they are nesting ,they will attack, The four babies this year in detroit
and pontiac will be banded , I built a nesting box for a tower in Pontiac , 188 ft elev. and they used it last year and again this year, A long climb to band but I think it will be ago this year.
