Animal attractions along CA-1 to San Francisco

Apart from the breath taking natural scenes the animal attractions along this route is an amazing experience.
Again, lack of time and proper equipment were a major bottle neck for me.

Some nice shots. Highway 1 has some great scenery no matter whether driving north or south --- Monterey - Carmel and the Big Sur area to the south have lots to photograph.

I have a pic of a squirrel on an overlook at the pch, eating peanuts out of my hand. The little guys really know how to work the crowd. Your shots brought back a lot of pleasant memories, thanks.

Thank you ! You are right about these guys working the crowd. I observed that as soon as a car arrive these animals appear waiting for some treats

I was surprised to see zebras although the climate there is warm enough for them.
