One thing I did not mention is that the sky was overcast with wild fire smoke from a local fire which contributed to the washed out look in the windows. I used a polarizer to bring out some of the blue in the sky which was pale blue at best. Thanks for your attempt at recolorizing my photos. Very nice of you. I always find it refreshing when I get positive feed back from individuals that merely want to help as opposed to complete negative narratives that simply support their own agendas of winning the argument by constant bickering. Thanks Kymarto.

Given enough time, etc., photographic challenges are fun! I love 'em!

Unfortunately "time" is rarely on our side.

Underexpose yellow walls by 1 stop and then you can adjust better in pp by first adjusting the white balance towards yellow and then slowly bring up the exposure until the wall matches what you remember it being. Also since you are using a Nikon, set the ADL for high and it will hold the highlights in the yellow tones. And YES, you raw guys, ADL does work in raw---so don't be confusing the OP. Try it yourself if you have any doubts by shooting a white pail with and without ADL invoked and you will see a subtle difference in details.

ADL does NOT affect the raw file per se, except to sometimes slightly change the exposure, which of course does affect the raw file.
