I don't want to sell mine. But, to get it to fit on my Nikon F, I had to file a small notch on the back of the camera so the Photomic head would fit. Perhaps, later Nikon Fs were pre-modified at the factory. If you're replacing an old head you'll have no problem. Good luck.

I have checked E-Bay and Keh but no success. I did try to buy one off E-Bay but the seller withdrew it instead of selling.

I have the original head that no longer works. It was exposed to salt spray on a beach several years ago. The head and camera were bought together in 1964. The only maintenance ever done to it was to have the shutter curtain replaced and re-synched about 28 years ago. This was (and still is) a really legendary camera. I have been using it with a prism finder but would like to have a working meter head.

The head is fine but no battery anymore so not tested recently (since 2005).

Do you want to sell? Was the meter working when you took the battery out?

Are you looking for a Photomic, Photomic T, or Photomic FTn model? I have a few.
