These are really pretty. If you twist your mind a little, the first one could resemble a snake head swallowing a glass egg.

I use a small, very fine "mister" when in the field, especially for spider webs.

Glycerin drops look like water drops, but last much longer. "Misted" water on spider webs usually evaporates within a minute. I have been tempted to "mist" diluted glycerin, just so I have longer shoot time.

When I was in college I did some photography for the school science Dept. If I remember correctly, we used pure glycerin because of the heat of the lights in the lab. Bill
