This morning I was at a Starbucks on Capitol Hill in DC. It’s very crowded and there’s a DB trying to pull up a Starbucks bar code on his smart watch without luck and holding up the entire line. He finally succeeds and as he turns around to wait for his double mocha cappuccino I see he is wearing a pastel green shirt and a large, bright yellow bow tie. What kind of AH thinks that is professional office attire for Washington DC. There are only two instances when a bow tie is appropriate; with a tux or if you are a circus clown!!
Wear at your own peril.
One mans opinion. LOL I think bow ties are fine, but "bright yellow", I duno!
Maybe he's a corporate clown... He must be doing well if he's wearing a smart watch and drinking overpriced Starbucks coffee.
he sounds bright and happy. you wear what you want, and let others do the same. we have a neighbour who always wears three hats, one on top of the other!

It's Washington. Except for those sleeping on the streets almost everyone is doing well.
Thank heavens for the eccentics of this world. They make a brighter day.
No problem with the bow tie per se, but a yellow one? and a pastel green shirt? The lad needs someone to check him out before he leaves the house.
Wearing yellow and green together he probably looked blue. Only been to Starbucks twice, don't intend to go back.
Sounds to me like he wasn't the only ah in the like.
At least he was at Starbucks and not a funeral. Modern man seems to have lost all sense of propriety when it comes to dress. Speaking of funerals, in our area I have seen people at a funeral wearing cut-off jeans, saggy pants, t-shirts with obnoxious logos and slogans, and I could go on, but you get the point. Seems nobody cares anymore.
He wants to be noticed and he was successful.
I wonder if he lives with his mother.
Maybe he is a John Deere salesman.😊
So, that's all we've got to think on and comment on? Someone we don't know, haven't seen and whose attire and life is none of our business?
Why not? Unfortunately a photograph didn't accompany the word description.
