Introducing Angus... (you know you want to look)

The girls have been saving up their allowance in order to adopt a new pet from the rescue socitey, last month they had enough for the adoption and all the supplies the little guy would need. So they have been waiting (not so patiently) for one to become available. On Saturday I got the call that the rescue had Angus and they thought he would be a perfect fit for our family. He is a year old, is very curious, super friendly, loves to cuddle and is not afraid of cats or dogs. I picked him up on my way home from work from his foster family last night.
So please let me introduce the newest member of our family... Angus.
Angus the Rockin' Hedgehog
Someone is REALLY, REALLY Happy here.
Just hangin' out.

I was kind of surprise at how pricky he is. I mean if you startle him, he puffs up to 3x times his size and those little spikes actually hurt. How if he's happy the spikes lay down and you can pet him just like a puppy. He likes that, lol.

Holy crap that's cute!!!
I know he's not an Ugly Hedgehog at all!
I think he should be our mascot.
How adorable. And, I want to deeply thank you for getting a rescue animal! If more people would realize that no matter what kind of pet they are searching for, there is one waiting at a shelter for their forever home.

I should really point out that the third picture is actually taken by my 8 year old daughter (that's my hand holding Angus).
MollyMolly - all 4 of our animals are some short of rescue. Be it picked up on the side of the road (Anakin the Cat) or threw a rescue socitey.

I go through that also, but on a much larger scale, or they seem to find their way to me knowing that I will find them a new home. And, btw, your daughter is a very good photographer. I guess it's in the blood, eh?

I know, I'm a sucker for a cute little animal. I was talking to him in a baby voice last night and didn't even notice it until my kids pointed it out. lol

But he's too cute to be the Ugly Hedgehog mascot, lol.
