Politifact. Really? Have you watched The First 48 recently? Unless the show is skewing their demographic, and unless the demographic can not unreasonably be assumed to be Democratic....I would have to say that Cruz is right. Go to court, jail or prison for verification.

From my read Mostly False seems to mean that while there is some data that partially supports the assertion, there is certainly not enough to validate the position.

Its a right wing talking point - violence is committed by libs, all libs want food stamps and govt handouts, all libs want the govt to run their lives, etc, etc.

I doubt most violent criminals actually think about stuff like lib vs con, just who can they jack next.


Its just right wing hyperbole that can't be disproved, but most certainly can't be substantiated.

So, what we see here is Ted Cruz engaging in exaggeration, misstatements, an falsely stating correlation as causation.

Walsh....I can look at Dallas County and see WHERE most of the violent crime is committed and it supports the theory. Actually, why would you think that v**ers would not be pre-disposed to commit crimes? You think somebody says, "I'm a violent criminal, so I have no interests in who runs the dang country."
