If the NRA was as powerful as you seem to think there would be no debate at all. And many of your views about what they believe and advocate are incorrect. However they are what the anti-gun people say the NRA advocates and the majority of the media says.

It is just like all the nuts who think the CIA, NSA etc is controlling the world. If they were that powerful the nuts would not be saying those things, they would have been "disappeared".
