Once again and again there has been another mass murder of innocent US people by some crazy gun holder.
Why cannot the US government control this problem which occurs every few days, the only state in the whole civilised world where this sort of thing happens.
How is it the gun toting NRA have so much power just like the N**is had when Hitler was in charge of Germany.
The US is a wonderful country which I would love to visit more often but the combination of gun happy madmen and US bolshi immigration officials I do will not even consider such an thought.

It was a terrorist attack for religious reasons. The man proclaimed himself, shouted the war cry of the Islamist Radicals, associated with a couple of major members and the Islamic State claimed him as their own in the media. He had a security license and worked for a company that guards federal facilities since 2007.
He was not just some random gun nut.

Even President Obama called it a terror attack.

A high percentage of gun ownership will guarantee that this sort of thing will always happen. The reality is that it is all too easy for people with bad intentions.

They would get weapons or find a way to do their evil anyway. The laws keep the good law abiding people from being able to meet them force to force.

Lot of s**t went wrong in Florida last night, none of it due to sane gun owners, ask why the swat team was too chicken to do their Swat Thing for a whole 3 hours would be a start !
I think we need to grow some balls is what we need !
That is how I see it !

SWAT was doing their "thing" as you call it. The first thing is to evaluate the situation and they do this at every step. They will also try and talk to the individual to prevent any further shootings. When it is decided that they can't talk the person out and they will not be able to guarantee the safety of any hostages they would then enter into the area. The SWAT Team wants to minimize any further casualties. Here they were able to enter and shoot the perpetrator and none of the hostages were shot or k**led.

Orlando police and Sheriff's Deputies are usually on top of most situations. I think the SWAT team did very well in doing what they did. The building was pretty small to hold 300 people and they all looked pretty much alike so the SWAT would have to be sure they got the right one. My hat is off to all the law enforcement personnel doing their job in Orlando. You would have to be here to see it. I have to be sure my old pistol is oiled up and apply for my CCW now. It is actually too late but the wake up call has been issued.

Spoken like someone who's hiding behind a computer screen.
You obviously know nothing of hostage situations or SWAT

That is part of the whole radical, fanatic Islamic belief system he followed.
Not too long ago a well known Imam issued a statement that k*****g gays was OK and even required under Islam, at least his brand of it. I would have to check but I believe it was in Florida and an Imam whose ideas the shooter supposedly had knowledge of.

In a not so distant passed (45years) when I traveled through Muslim countries I noticed quite a few young men walking down the streets holding hands.....when I asked what that was all about I was told that purchasing a wife was quite expensive so young men who couldn't yet afford one just got friendly with each other.......it was perfectly normal behavior for them, so it seemed anyway !
Nowadays with the worldwide interracial interaction and mixing of "primitive cultures" with our own western liberal ways may seem like not such a good idea in retrospect!
Loose sexual behavior mixed in with stringent religious requirements and easy weapons acquisition makes for a volatile cocktail ......and being promised 72 virgins when you die doesn't help keep things simple here on earth !
