Two of my favorite models will be moving away this fall. My granddaughter will be attending a college that is about a three hour drive away. She graduated as her class Salutatorian, and received a full academic scholarship to the school of her choice.
One of my granddaughter's closest friends, who graduated ranked #3 in the same class, will attend a top ranked ACC school this fall, also on a full academic scholarship. These beautiful young ladies have been friends since middle school.
I am extremely proud of both of them, and will miss their frequent visits to my home. They came by for a couple of extra cap and gown pics.
Congratulations to both of them. I hope they continue the work/study ethic that got them this far and achieve as much success in college as they did in high school.

Thanks, Bob. I'm certain they will both continue to do well.
Congratuatlions to both the beautiful young ladies on being awarded full scholarships. I am sure that you will find some excuse to visit her on a regular basis at college.

Now that you mention it, I need to visit my brother more often. He lives about 15 minutes away from campus.
Great images. Excellent light placement and I love the splash of separation light behind the head. Well done.

Thank you, sir. I used a B800 key light in a 32"x48" softbox, an Einstein for hair/separation with a 10 degree grid, and a speedlight with a red gel to light the black background. Sometimes I think about adding a third strobe (mainly for the modeling light), but then I realize I don't really shoot enough to justify the purchase.
Congrats to the girls and to you for a job well done!

Beautiful job with the lighting, and you have good reason to be proud of your granddaughter.
Thanks bkyser and Treepusher.
Congrats. Really nice shots.
