Grad Caps

For some reason, this never loaded earlier. Took this, while on assignment for Colorado Community Media at Holy Family HS in Broomfield, CO, on May 26, 2016. Kept trying to take the usual grad cap shots at 2 other school commencements, both were indoors BTW, but nothing worked until this one.

You did get a winner here. The framing including the caps, a couple of faces and the crowd.

The only distraction is in the background. The building shows the image is far from level. If straightening the entire image would ruin the framing of the caps, I would burn the building and sky in a bit.

The cap buttons are near the 1/3 1/3 zones so straughtening the building line would disturb those positions. Argh, life is full of choices, no.

Hopped up on a portable stage riser to quickly grab this. At F2.8, I didn't really care what was in the background, as it was blurred.
