Seen a lot of "Supermoon" shots this weekend. Thought I would share something with a little different take on the subject. Taken at 4:30 am on 5/6 with a 30 sec. exposure and 200 ISO.

Thank you twinmama. It was very serene indeed. Sat there till dawn, experimenting with exposures. Thanks for looking and commenting.

I've never taken a long exposure shot before. The moon looks as if it's the sun...cool!

Thanks planepics. This is my first experimentation with long exposure, so really, I don't have a clue what I'm doing. LOL I just know I liked the potential enough that I intend to learn more about it. You're right about the moon looking like the sun. This next shot, were it not for the "glow" under the moon "and" a reflection in the foreground, it could be mistaken for an underexposed daylight shot.

Thanks Bartulius. Sitting on a moonlit lake listening to the little "night critters" has to be one of the most relaxing things a person can do.
