Seen a lot of "Supermoon" shots this weekend. Thought I would share something with a little different take on the subject. Taken at 4:30 am on 5/6 with a 30 sec. exposure and 200 ISO.

Thank you twinmama. It was very serene indeed. Sat there till dawn, experimenting with exposures. Thanks for looking and commenting.
Very well done, thank you

Loc: St. Louis burbs, but originally Chicago burbs
I've never taken a long exposure shot before. The moon looks as if it's the sun...cool!

Thank "you" Turbo. I appreciate your time and comment.
Nice change of venue. Serene and tranquil sum it up for me as well.

Thanks planepics. This is my first experimentation with long exposure, so really, I don't have a clue what I'm doing. LOL I just know I liked the potential enough that I intend to learn more about it. You're right about the moon looking like the sun. This next shot, were it not for the "glow" under the moon "and" a reflection in the foreground, it could be mistaken for an underexposed daylight shot.

Thanks Bartulius. Sitting on a moonlit lake listening to the little "night critters" has to be one of the most relaxing things a person can do.
