After all the bad publicity revolving around stupid people acting irresonsbly at the park, yesterdy another idiot paid the ultimate penalty when he wandered off the boardwalk in the Geyser basin and then fell into a hotspring. Although his body hasn't been located yet it is presumed that he died.
Doesn't anyone read the signs posted everywhere in the park?

Yes, people are stupid, but arrogance is another factor. The rules don't apply to me.

A day or two before, a thirteen year old boy burned his ankle
and foot when he fell into a hot spring. His father who was
partly responsible, burned himself as he pulled his son from the
water. Both are recovering in a hospital.

Good candidate for this year's Darwin awards. No doubt there will be a cry for more park funding for more rangers to warn stupid people. Instead, perhaps the park should offer "acidification" for a fee to compete with cremation. Much more environmentally friendly. Think of all the global warming caused by cremation.

Duh, there should have been a 'safe space' for him to go to so he wouldn't have wanted to wonder off the boardwalk.

There IS a "safe space" that the fool disregarded by arrogantly wandering off of it. Your inane liberal comment shows that you have no common sense.

I think, and I'm hoping, that he meant that comment facetiously, at least that was the way I took it, but then again, I'm not always the sharpest tool in the shed.
