While out shooting the Iridium flares Saturday, I grabbed some other shots.
Of pretty much anything I could think of
Very little traffic out there, in the nearly 6 hours I was there, I only saw a handful of vehicles.
I did manage to capture a couple on "film" though.
Even with that little traffic, I still got caught in the middle of the road with all my equipment.

Nice shot! Joshua Tree? The road traffic is interesting!

Thank you!
A Joshua Tree, but not in Joshua Tree
I went to a little campground just east of home, Saddleback Butte.
I headed across the road for the best looking trees I could find. Well, close to the road anyway

It's a beautiful capture. Digital would have shown all camera data. How was 14 mm lens setting? Wouldn't it have been near infinity? I still like what you did. David

Thank you, David!
I'm not sure I understand what you mean,"Digital would have shown all camera data."
Can you clarify?
It is 14 mm prime lens, I had the focus set to about 10'. Theoretical hyperfocal distance is just past 9', so I fudged a little for some breathing room.
