Admin was wrong!
This new 'Ugly' is a pale comparison to the original.
Remember: the new Coke?
OK, just what do you find an issue with the new format, specifically?

I find the new format clean and easy to use. Exactly what are you having a problem with? Being more specific could help.
Sorry Robert. I don't feel it took me any time at all to adapt and I like some of the added features.

Me, too. after a couple of days, I adapted very easily. My only hangup is the extra step with posting photos, but it's probably for the best in the long run. I had no problems with the old setup, but I use the computer to access UHH. I can see why the new format is easier for the phone folks. I really don't see why anyone would use a tiny phone screen to view the works posted here, but that's just me. Cheers.
My only problem with the new format is my buddy list is kind of buried in the my profile tab...other than that it works well.
I don't care for it either but the powers that be won't change anything for the few, nor should he/they. As someone who used to run a Bulletin Board Service (remember those?) I totally understand that things don't get changed on a whim as it is generally a pain in the butt and usually as someone's expense.
As for the phone comment, I use my phone a lot for quick checks because it's always on and the computer isn't but my biggest beef is that the old format fit on the phone screen just fine, this doesn't. To each his own but on the upside, the ads tend to be truncated so no big loss there.
It does allow more posts per page. It does so by giving just a snippet of the quote that is being quote replied. I have noticed that this causes confusion if individuals read the response only and do not take the time to read the entire original quote. Also, weren't there supposed to be "thumbnails" of photographs posted?
my fit is you get use to something and nothing wrong , then they go change it, XP, Win7 to 8 now to 10 , are some examples, why just add it to the end of the old style that way old dummies like me can take it or leave it.....
Geez, more complaining with absolutely ZERO coherency. Use your words! WHAT SPECIFICALLY don't you like? WHAT SPECIFICALLY would you change? HOW SPECIFICALLY would you change that?
Just saying "I don't like it" is what one would expect from a three-year-old throwing a tantrum, not an adult.

Actually, your buddy list is also at the top of the page, last line of links.

Refreshing the page is more complex now unless someone knows of a quick way to do it. Before there was a link at the top and bottom of the page that you could click on but now you either have to go back to the beginning or open a post and click on the General Chit Chat link.
Why is the possibility of using cursive, underlined, black text etc. no longer available? Or is it hidden someplace when I haven't found it?
I confess that I don't know why one can only post one photo at a time now. Before it was relatively simple and uncomplicated.
Thanks for all your input. (except the one a$$hole)
I'll keep on making an attempt to 'get used to it'.
