My wife said that if I won the lottery I would go crazy trying to decide what camera to buy. I said it would be easy--a Nikon F6. Best camera I have ever seen and I could afford to shoot all the film I wanted.

Leica M262 with 28mm, 35mm and maybe a 90mm lens to take on one of those Viking River Cruises.

How much did you win?
Just think, you could buy them all, then just give the ones away, that you don't want, to your friends on the UHH forum.
Good luck my friend,
Marion

Wrong question. Right question: which lens.

Well, I'm likely to get beat up on this, but I have had wonderful results with J.C. Penny, Dejur and all kinds of Vivitar lenses. Frequently zoom lenses. When I started buying high end Nikon lenses, I saw no difference in sharpness. I use a tripod a lot, rarely need to shoot wide open and depend more on my technique than on the name on the lens. However, if I won the lottery I probably would buy the best Nikon lenses to put on my F6.

You are not going to win so what is the point of this?

I would buy a Leica M2 and a 35mm chron, a Nikon F3 with a good 35mm lens, a Hasselblad 500 CM with Zeiss 80mm lens and loads of Tri-x, Portra, and Fuji 400h film until my fridge was bursting. I'd also clean up my darkroom and get myself some more space to work in, and no skimp on paper. :)

Digital Hasselblad with a number of lenses. $500,000 should do.

For completeness sake:

For medium format film, used Hasselblad and Rolleiflex would do.

I already have the 35mm film camera works for me, my Pentax K2 DMD.

DSLR, Pentax K-1 (FX) and Pentax K-3 (DX).

They are practically giving film Hasselblad 500 C/M cameras away. The lenses are what retain value and cost a fortune.

I'd need a time machine to go back and get loads of Kodachrome and Plus-X film.

Probably a Leica something or the other and some Leica or zeiss glass. And a sherpa to lug around for me.

A Nikon D810, a Hasselblad with an array of lenses, a monster all terrain vehicle to go anywhere for landscape shots, and an assistant to carry all my stuff!😀
