I had read that DSLR lenses could be coupled to mirrorless cameras with good results. I bought a KF adapter and used it to attach my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 (G) prime lens to my Sony A6000. Using aperture priority and manual focus the camera still will automatically adjust ISO and shutter speed as you permit it in the setup. I also use focus peaking to help with focusing. I took this picture in the early evening when the flower was shadowed from the setting sun by the house. I was surprised by how well it came out.
Good time to shoot this. The lighting is very nice. Very pretty flower.
