You need to use Add attachment BEFORE posting.

If you post it here, Admin may move it to the appropriate section.

You don't say exactly what you are doing... standing on your hands won't help!

I have posted several photos (other forum, same software and layout),
1. Click the Browse button and navigate to the picture on your hard drive, SD card, external drive...
2. Click on Add Attachment.
3. Click on Send

I haven't tried it out, but it used to be that if you clicked on Preview before sending, your photo refused to travel. If you're using that button before Send, I would suggest: Don't!

I'll just try it:

Forget about the Preview button, it seems not to interfere with the photo uploading.
The other three steps are the same though.

Carl - do you get to the point the image displays as a preview on your screen? I just went through the process and after selecting the file, RED text displays saying I need to click <add attachment>. I then needed to wait for the file to upload. But, with the preview displayed, I could press <send> to post.

BTW - what size file are you trying to post? Although there's no error, 1 file or multiple files that combined exceed 20MB will not post but they do not generate an error...

OK, Carl, STOP and take a deep breath!
Will you do me a favour, and anyone else here that is trying to help you? Please?
"No matter what I do...." doesn't help us to help you.
Now that you have let go of the deep breath, get a piece of paper and a pen or pencil.
Write down everything you do right after you did it, don't wait till attaching a picture fails again.
As soon as you click on the Quote Reply button, write down "Quote Reply"
Type your message, write down "Message"
Now click the Browse button - write down Browse.
Click Add Attachment... write it down.
Wait till you see the picture with your message, write down Picture
Finally click Send.
If that works you've solved the problem.
If it doesn't, send us your list (sorry, you'll have to type it out) and maybe one of us can spot what went wrong.

I have done this for myself any number of times, convinced I did everything right, convinced I did everything the same way as before, yet when my son looked over my list, he always spotted something that wasn't quite right, and since computers are only stupid things that need to be told exactly what they need to do each and every time, we've got to use our collective smarts to beat them :-)
