canon 70-200mm f/4 L Lens-opinions please

the sigma 70-200mm2.8 non OS is running about $950. the OS verson is running $1299.

I have 100/400 canon L lens it is sharp and I use it a lot for macro and wild life wouldn't trade it for anything. Just my thoughts.

There is nothing I dislike about my Canon 70-200 f/4 non-IS. I have a Tamron 2x extender, but seldom use it. I have Sigma and Tamron lenses, but find Canon quality works best for me overall. There will be exceptions both better and worse with any brand as the lens ratings show. When the budget permits, will be looking for a Canon 1.4 extender which I believe is a great combination for either the f/4 or the f/2.8 version of this particular lens.
