Ok, I know this has been discussed before but I cannot find the thread so forgive me for repeating a topic.
I want to sort photos by focal length used to determine which zoom range is most common. It will help me decide most logical lens choice.
I have Lightroom, CS5 and Nikon's View NX2. Any ideas?

The purpose is to determine how often I actually shoot wider than 24mm. Do I really need my 16-35 or is 24 wide enough for landscapes?

In Lightroom:
Go to Library.
Click on the Filters drop-down in the lower right (next to flags, stars and colors).
Select "Camera Info" - you will get a display of things like camera model, lens, focal length and flash state with values and the number of photos for each.

Thank you Snowbear. Exactly what I needed. Lordy, the Mists of Time surely do resemble heavy fog!

1.Go to Library, on the left panel drop down Catalog, select All Photographs
2. Go to center panel top of page and select Metadata
3. on left side, Keyword All
4 Check section "Lens" two to the right for all pictures take at all the different focal lengths.

What Snowbear says will work too but you must first drop down the Catalog, All photographs so that every image in your catalog is shown, not just one folders worth.
