Yeah- in upstate NY that night it started out cloudy with flashes of the moon through the clouds and a couple of hrs. later no clouds. I took both. But I kinda thought there was nothing too special about the super moon, but I really liked the cloudy parts. Here's one with some clouds.

Here it is... note that the inset is the full image and the large moon cropped out of the full frame.
Wow Cheineck! That is an amazing shot. Could you tell us which camera, lens and other details?
Thanks!

This is what I got, I've seen much better though.
Cocoa, you not only filled the frame but you got GREAT detail(is it cropped?). If you had also given us a face shot I could tell you if I'd been out with her before!!

Hey Doc ...... you were pointed in the wrong direction
Wabbit is getting into astro-tushography. How many moons does Jupiter have ??
Tripod-mounted Nikon D5000 at ISO 400, Nikkor 500-mm Mirror Reflex lens, 1/1250-sec at f/8 (fixed)
Wabbit... No, no. It's Moon Over Miami not Moon Over Arizona. Pretty cheeky photo.
