I find that football is a very difficult sport to photograph. I usually use shutter priority(800) and let the camera D7000 select the aperture. What do you think?

It looks good to me...exposure is fine and the action is frozen!

Actually you should be using Shoot in Shutter Priority and set a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the frame. Let the camera choose the F-stop.

Your shots are excellent as is.

Yes that is what you should do..along with that ...choose 21 points..and put camera in AF-C
