Action Focus

Want to say thanks to everyone who has helped me get correct focus on moving objects. Memorial day I took pictures of my dog running around the backyard. Set my Nikon D300 to shutter priority of 1250 second. Was a bright sunny day around 1pm. Almost all my shots came out great, freezing the action. Still have a lot to learn. My Nikon D300 is a lot different than the old point and shoot I had used for years. Now if the photo is not correct, I have only myself to blame ....
