The first two shots are stacked in a natural sense. I found it unusual to find three different species posing together in this manner. The other shots are birds from the same outing plus one turtle shot. All were taken hand held from a slow moving boat.

Egret, Ibis and Anhinga all on the same tree high above the river.

What a wonderful day you had, Carol, great set and variety!! Love your bird stacking, they're even looking the same way and it looks like the Anhinga could be an instigator with that look on his face!!
I enjoyed them all, right down to the sunning turtles!!

Thank you Angela. This was last week when we revisited the Osprey family. The Anhinga was definitely the black sheep in the crowd. I'm glad you enjoyed them all.

Beautifully photographed, Carol! You kept the details in the whites really well. How fascinating to see different species together and all are such cool birds. Love this series!

Thank you for noticing the whites Linda. It is something I have been working on and I feel I have made some progress there. I'm glad you enjoyed the gang.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I like to be closer than the first shot but I was impressed with how they lined themselves up.
