I was downtown St. Paul, MN last week to do some experimenting with night shots.
Comments welcome.
Excellent set. I particularly like the first shot. The placement of the structure in the frame and the lighting are superb!
Very well done. Both downloads show very sharp images. Will you share equipment and exposure details?
Hi and thanks for the nice comments. First, both are 6 or 7 shot HDR combinations. I normally shoot the shots from a tripod, starting at -3 or -4 on the exposure, and moving up
one full stop, (-4, -3, -2, etc) until I get to +3 or 4, depending on the available light. I try to shoot around f10 - 13 for these shots.
I used a Canon 7D Mark II for the bridge and a Canon 5D Mark III for the Cathedral. For lenses, I probably used a Canon 24-105L on the Bridge and a Canon 70-200 L f2.8 II on the Cathedral
All photos combined in Lightroom CC,, a very easy process..
I am glad you like them, ,They are so much fun to create.
Very beautiful and detailed shots!!!
Thanks, I do appreciate the comments!
Wow, two great shots!
