It looks like R.I.P. for an old friend--sad. Nice photo, by the way.
Looks like it has withstood a lot in it's day and I am betting it will stand a while yet. Those old barns were mostly made with dovetail joints an held together with wooden pegs. A lot more flexible than stiff studs and metal collars held by metal nails. I recall in the 50's in RI we dismantled my grand father's barn, moved it to a new site and re-assembled it using for the most part the same wooden pegs. For all I know at this point it could be still standing
