This is my first post in the Sports Section(I think?) Hopefully I'll get to post once in a while. Maybe it will get me out there to shoot a few more sports!!!
This is a shot I took at the London Olympic games in 2012. This is the lead pack of the Men's finals of the 20 Kilometer walk.
Thanks for looking!

Very clear and sharp SS were you using your 70-200mm Canon lens?

The rich colors are amazing. I lived in Canberra, Australia for a bit and their capitol is on a manmade lake with about a 13-mile trail around the entire setting. One of their Olympic athletes trained there and I remember seeing him a few times on the trail. Depending on where I saw him in the course of a long run, I typically wasn't able to pass him at my running pace against his speed walking pace ..

I like this shot. You captured the moment, and the colors are amazing.

CHG, yes, I've been to Canberra, very nice place. The capital building with all its orientations is a beautiful place, and believe it or not one of the things I remember MOST about Australia is the War Memorial. It's simply amazing. Oh, and that cockatoos line the phone lines like blackbirds do here!! LoL
Thanks for looking.
